Platform Overview & Eligibility

Hi-Rollerz Promotions (“Hi-Rollerz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates an online marketplace platform located at hi-rollerzpromotion.com that connects independent talent (performers, DJs, models, comedians, and other creative professionals) with clients seeking to book them for events and engagements.

By accessing or using the Hi-Rollerz platform, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• You will use the platform in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in British Columbia, Canada, and your local jurisdiction.
• The information you provide during registration is accurate, current, and complete.

Talent Obligations

As a talent registered on Hi-Rollerz Promotions, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information in your profile, portfolio, and booking details.
• Respond to booking requests within 48 hours of receipt.
• Honour all confirmed bookings. Cancellations must be communicated to the client and Hi-Rollerz as early as possible and no later than 72 hours before the event.
• Arrive at the booked venue punctually and perform the agreed-upon service professionally.
• Connect a valid Stripe account to receive payouts. Hi-Rollerz is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or incorrect payment information.
• Not solicit clients to book outside of the Hi-Rollerz platform to avoid platform fees. Doing so will result in immediate account suspension.
• Maintain conduct that upholds the reputation of Hi-Rollerz Promotions at all times.
• Not engage in discriminatory, harassing, or unlawful behaviour toward clients or other platform users.

Client Obligations

As a client using Hi-Rollerz Promotions to book talent, you agree to:

• Provide accurate event details, including date, time, location, and nature of the engagement.
• Make payment in full as required at the time of booking confirmation.
• Treat all talent with respect and professionalism.
• Not request services that are illegal, inappropriate, or outside the scope agreed upon at booking.
• Not attempt to contact or solicit talent outside the platform to circumvent booking fees.
• Provide a safe and appropriate environment for the talent to perform.
• Comply with all cancellation terms outlined in Section 5.

Booking & Payment Terms

All bookings made through Hi-Rollerz Promotions are subject to the following payment terms:

• All prices displayed on talent profiles are set by the talent themselves. Hi-Rollerz does not set or negotiate talent rates.
• The client pays the full booking fee in a single payment at the time of booking confirmation.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Hi-Rollerz does not store payment card information.
• A deposit is released to the talent immediately upon confirmed booking. The deposit is final and non-refundable, except in the case of a confirmed talent no-show (see Section 5).
• The remaining balance is held by Hi-Rollerz and released to the talent 48 hours after the event, unless a dispute is filed per Section 6.
• All amounts are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

The following cancellation and refund terms apply to all bookings made through Hi-Rollerz Promotions:

• Client cancels 48+ hours before the event: The deposit is refunded to the client. No further charges apply.
• Client cancels under 48 hours before the event: No refund is issued. The talent retains the full deposit as compensation for holding the date and declining other opportunities.
• Talent cancels for any reason: The client receives a full refund. The talent’s account will be flagged and may be subject to suspension.
• Talent no-show: The client receives a 100% refund of all amounts paid. Hi-Rollerz reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove the talent from the platform.
• Force majeure: In the event of circumstances beyond either party’s control (natural disasters, government-mandated closures, etc.), Hi-Rollerz will assess refunds on a case-by-case basis.

All disputes regarding a booking must be filed through the Hi-Rollerz platform within 48 hours of the event date.

Dispute Resolution

The remaining balance of a booking is held for 48 hours after the event date before being released to the talent. During that window, the client may file a dispute using the "Dispute This Booking" button on their booking record, which pauses the release until the matter is resolved.

• A dispute may only be filed if the talent did not show up, arrived more than 30 minutes late without prior agreement, did not perform the service as agreed, or was impaired or behaved unprofessionally in a way that disrupted the event.
• Disputes may not be filed on the basis of personal taste, dissatisfaction with the client’s own event (turnout, venue, weather, guest conduct), or a simple change of mind.
• When a dispute is filed, the client must provide a written explanation of what occurred, and the talent will be given an opportunity to respond before Hi-Rollerz makes a decision.
• Confirmed no-shows are resolved automatically per Section 5. All other disputes are reviewed by Hi-Rollerz against the criteria above and resolved as a full release to the talent, a full refund to the client, or a partial split where the talent partially delivered on the agreement.
• No chargebacks should be initiated through your payment provider prior to completing the Hi-Rollerz dispute process. Initiating an unauthorized chargeback may result in account suspension.
• If a resolution cannot be reached through Hi-Rollerz mediation, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in British Columbia, Canada, in accordance with the Arbitration Act (BC).

Platform Liability Limitations

Hi-Rollerz Promotions operates solely as a booking marketplace and is not a party to any agreement between a client and talent. Accordingly:

• Hi-Rollerz is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or any aspect of the services provided by talent.
• Hi-Rollerz is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform or any booking made through it.
• Hi-Rollerz does not guarantee that talent will be available, perform as described, or meet client expectations.
• Hi-Rollerz is not responsible for any personal injury, property damage, or financial loss arising from an event booked through the platform.
• Our total liability to any user for any claim related to the platform shall not exceed the total amount of platform fees paid by that user in the 6 months preceding the claim.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Hi-Rollerz platform, including but not limited to the logo, design, text, graphics, and software, is the property of Hi-Rollerz Promotions and is protected by Canadian copyright and intellectual property laws.

• Talent retain ownership of all content they upload to their profiles, including photos, videos, and audio.
• By uploading content to Hi-Rollerz, talent grant Hi-Rollerz a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and promote that content on the platform and associated marketing materials.
• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Hi-Rollerz platform content without express written permission.

Privacy & Data

Hi-Rollerz Promotions collects and processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Canadian privacy laws, including PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act).

• We collect only the information necessary to operate the platform and facilitate bookings.
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
• Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe and is not stored on our servers.
• You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.

Account Termination

Hi-Rollerz Promotions reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for reasons including but not limited to:

• Violation of any term in this agreement.
• Fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activity.
• Attempting to solicit clients or talent outside the platform.
• Repeated cancellations or no-shows.
• Harassing, threatening, or discriminatory behaviour.
• Chargebacks initiated without completing the Hi-Rollerz dispute process.

Upon termination, any pending payouts may be held pending review. You may request account deletion by contacting us directly.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal proceedings arising from these terms shall be conducted in the courts of British Columbia.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
